The International Symposium on Ion Therapy 2018 was held November 10-11 in Saga Japan. The event included presentations by leaders of heavy ion facilities in Europe and Asia, as well as experts in heavy ion clinical research, basic science research, physics and technology. ISIT in its fourth year has assumed an important role in bringing together thought leaders at the intersection of science and cancer care, as a precursor to the development of a national heavy ion center in the U.S.

The International Symposium on Ion Therapy 2017 was held November 2-3 in the new facility of Department of Radiation Oncology University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. The event included presentations by leaders of heavy ion facilities in Europe and Asia, as well as experts in heavy ion clinical research, basic science research, physics and technology. ISIT in its fourth year has assumed an important role in bringing together thought leaders at the intersection of science and cancer care, as a precursor to the development of a national heavy ion center in the U.S.

The International Symposium on Ion Therapy 2016 was held November 3-4 in Milan, Italy. The event included the presentations by leaders of heavy ion facilities in Europe and Asia, as well as experts in heavy ion clinical research, basic science research, physics and technology. ISIT in its third year has assumes an important role in bringing together thought leaders at the intersection of science and cancer care, as a precursor to the development of a first national heavy ion therapy and research center in the U.S.

The International Symposium on Ion Therapy 2015 was held October 15-16 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine, Texas. The event included presentations by leaders of heavy ion facilities in Europe and Asia, as well as experts in heavy ion clinical research, basic science research, physics and technology.
